The Promise

Restore What Time and Weather Took From Your Timber

Kid scratches on the dining table. Dog claws on the hardwood. Water rings from every glass that ever missed the coaster. Heat marks from hot dishes. Sliding plates. Daily life.

Twenty years of it. And one morning you look at the table your parents gave you and realise it looks like it belongs in a garage sale.

Oak & Amber reverses that.

Not with dye. Not with paint. Not by covering the damage with a temporary shine that fades by Thursday. It penetrates into the wood fibre — restoring the natural colour that was always there, hidden underneath decades of dryness and damage. Then it seals the surface with a breathable beeswax membrane so the restoration lasts.

One application. Under 10 minutes. While the kettle boils.

The Mechanism

Wonder In A Tin

Scratch pens add coloured ink on top. It fades and rubs off. Old English adds oil that evaporates in weeks. Pledge adds wax that builds up cloudy and yellow over time.

None of them get INSIDE the wood.

Oak & Amber's cold-pressed hemp seed oil has one of the smallest molecular structures of any plant-based oil. It doesn't sit on the surface. It moves between the wood fibres — into the microscopic spaces where natural moisture and colour live.

It restores from within. The grain reappears. The original depth of colour returns.

Then the Australian beeswax seals the surface — not as an impermeable barrier, but as a breathable membrane that protects against moisture, UV and daily wear.

This is why you see results in 90 seconds. The oil penetrates fast. The fibres rehydrate fast. The transformation happens in real time, while you watch.

Versatility

One Balm. Every Timber Surface.

  • Scratches and scuffs — kids, pets, keys, plates
  • Dog scratches on hardwood floors
  • Water rings and heat marks
  • Dry, faded, dull timber that's lost its life
  • Cloudy Pledge buildup

Tables. Floors. Dressers. Cabinets. Desks. Bookshelves. Banisters. Window sills.

Oak. Walnut. Cherry. Jarrah. Teak. Mahogany. Pine. Cedar.

One tin. One product. Every timber surface in your home. No colour matching required. The hemp oil doesn't ADD colour. It restores the wood's OWN colour. The wood tells the oil what colour to be.

Safety

What's Actually In Your Wood Polish?

Most wood restoration products contain petroleum distillates, synthetic solvents, and volatile organic compounds. The fine print says "use in well-ventilated areas."

This is for your dining table. Where your family eats. Where the dog rests his chin. You shouldn't need a chemistry degree to fix a water ring.

Oak & Amber is made from four natural ingredients:

  • Cold-pressed hemp seed oil — Food-grade safe carrier.
  • Australian beeswax — Sustainably sourced breathable seal.
  • Jojoba oil — Absorbs completely with zero greasy residue.
  • Vitamin E — Natural preservative and antioxidant.

No harsh chemicals. No toxic fumes. It smells like honeycomb and warm timber. Safe for kids. Safe for pets.

Application

Four Steps. Ten Minutes. Done.

No sanding. No stripping. No masking tape. No professional needed.

1. CLEAN

Wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Remove dust, crumbs and loose debris.

2. APPLY

Scoop a small amount onto a cloth. Rub into damaged area using circular motions.

3. WAIT

Let it sit for 60-90 seconds while the oil penetrates the grain.

4. BUFF

Wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Run your hand across the surface. Feel the difference.

Risk-Free

See It Work or Pay Nothing

The walnut trick. The mayonnaise method. Scratch pens. None of them lasted. We know.

60-day restoration guarantee.

Use the full tin on every piece of timber furniture in your home. If you don't see a visible difference on the first application — not after weeks, on the FIRST application — we'll refund you in full. You keep the tin.

We can make this guarantee because the product works in real time. You'll know within 90 seconds. The wood changes in front of you, or it doesn't. And if it doesn't, you've risked nothing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it actually fix scratches?

Surface scratches and light-to-medium scratches, yes. The oil fills the scratch from the inside and the wax seals it. The scratch becomes virtually invisible because the wood's natural colour has been restored around and within it. Deep gouges (structural damage) will be improved but not invisible.

Why no colour? How does it work without dye?

Dye adds foreign pigment ON TOP of the wood. Oak & Amber works differently — the hemp oil penetrates into the wood fibres and restores the natural moisture that gives timber its depth of colour. Think of a dry stone on the beach versus a wet one. Same stone, dramatically different colour. It brings back what was always there.

Does it actually remove water rings from wood?

Yes. Water rings are caused by moisture trapped between the finish and the wood fibre, creating a cloudy white discolouration. The hemp oil's small molecular structure lets it move through the surface and displace the trapped moisture. The white mark dissolves — not masked, not covered. The beeswax then seals against future moisture penetration.

Is it safe to use on my dining table where my family eats?

Yes. Four ingredients: cold-pressed hemp seed oil, Australian beeswax, jojoba oil, vitamin E. All naturally derived. No solvents, no petroleum distillates, no VOCs. Once the balm is absorbed and buffed, the surface is safe for direct food contact, children, and pets.

What types of wood does it work on?

All natural timber — oak, walnut, pine, jarrah, teak, mahogany, cedar, cherry, maple. It works on stained, oiled, lacquered, and raw timber finishes. It does NOT work on painted surfaces, laminate, MDF, melamine, or veneer where the timber layer is too thin to absorb.

Will it leave my table sticky or greasy?

No. The hemp oil is fully absorbed into the wood fibre within 60-90 seconds. The beeswax buffs to a smooth, natural finish — not glossy, not tacky, not greasy. After buffing, you can place a glass on it immediately.
